I mentioned Todd has been playing a new game on the Wii a lot, and that game is Xenoblade. It's a role-playing game that was released in Japan in 2010, but came to the US this year. I watched some of his game play, and it looks interesting...but it doesn't really look like my type of game. Of course, I will give it a shot.

One of the Operation: Rainfall games that the American audience has been fighting to bring over stateside. I've been meaning to pick up a copy so I can get back to some good old fashion JRPG action.

I bought both Xenoblade and The Last Story and was kind of disappointed in each of them. My Wii died just as I began playing The Last Story, but the introduction failed to engage me. Xenoblade is a little better, but I'm still not totally sold on it. I have yet to beat either, but I'd give Xenoblade the edge (ooooh, pun'd!). It's more colourful and the characters are a bit more interesting.
