I wasn't sure whether to classify this as Star Fox related or SSB related, so I just stuck it under here (and feel free to move it if you wish). Anyways, I caught these vids on the Krystal Archive web page and thought I'd share them here. They're easter eggs found in SSB Brawl featuring the Star Fox team. I think they are kind of spoilers, so if you haven't played the game yet, feel free to skip over. Lylat Cruise: www.youtube.com/watch?v=I63Q9wZMikcThey say her voice is done by Alesia Glidewell, the same actress that did her voice in Star Fox Assault. I think it's a good improvement over Assault (the voice kind of differs from Glidewell's voice roll of Neyla in Sly 2: Band of Thieves). Krystal Trophy www.youtube.com/watch?v=KK_Uw9aUFRYAnd all this time, I didn't think our favorite blue vixen would even make an appearance in the game.

Yeah, even though I'm not a big fan of Krystal, I rather had her in Brawl than another Fox clone.

I was really expecting Krystal to be playable in Brawl. Out of all the Star Fox characters, she holds the highest potential to be a completely unique fighter (as opposed to 90% of the cast who essentially share the same abilities as Fox). Her staff would make a unique weapon (mid to fast speed with long range but lower damage than other long range attacks) plus it held many abilities in Star Fox Adventures that could easily by translated into SSB style attacks such as an upward rocket boost, various projectiles, and a ground shaking earthquake (which could be used to stun opponents at a short distance).
The fact that she was overlooked for Wolf really disappoints me. To be honest, Wolf's inclusion in Brawl is redundant, Fox already has one clone, giving him a second one was not a good idea on Mr Sakurai's part. Hopefully SSB4 will fix this mistake and remove Wolf (I think he's better suited for an Assist Trophy role or alternate coloration for Fox) and replace him with Krystal (or any other unique fighter for that matter).

Wolf Really isnt a clone tho, the only arguable move is his Up-B every other move and most importantly is A attacks are completely different from fox's.

I'd beg to differ. Basically all of his special attacks are derived from Fox's move base, and most even have the same name. His neutral B is a blaster shot, his forward B is a lateral (albeit slightly angled) dash, his up B is a brief charge-then-dash in a given direction, and his down B is a deflector, not to mention the Landmaster Final Smash was recycled a second time (it was bad enough Falco was given it as well). There are some differences between the two for obvious reasons (speed vs power, weight differences, range ect), but he's really no less a clone than Falco or Toon Link is. There is some slight variation in his normal attack base, but it's not different enough to consider him unique, or even semi-clone like Luigi (who at least has become more and more unique with each appearance) and the fact that there's already a character who copies Fox's abilities aready in the series just makes his lack of originality more apparent.

Yes, I'm highly disappointed that Krystal isn't playable in Brawl.

Yes, I'm highly disappointed that Krystal isn't playable in Brawl. Don't worry, love. We'll protest them to put her in the next SSB just for you!
