I played this for the first time with Todd in May. It was really fun. I'm thinking about getting it someday, but I'm waiting for the price to drop a bit. Than again, I do plan on moving in with Todd around the fall time, so I'll have it anyways, since he owns a copy.
Though who like Mario, I suggest playing this game if you haven't already. It's fun to pounce on someone and watch them fall to their doom.

For a traditional Mario game, it's pretty good, but multiplayer is where it really shines. It's not the type of game you'll want to play a serious co-op session through, since it seems having more characters ends up making the game chaotic. Most of the deaths tend to be from getting in the way of each other, accidentally tossing each other into a foe or pit, or bouncing each other into traps either above or below; you can easily tell the levels aren't meant for more than one player, but it's that chaos that really makes it a fun experience. It's definitely a riot to play, but serious gamers may find themselves getting frustrated due to the frequent "oopses," but anyone with an open-mind to just having fun will have a blast with this game.
