A review I wrote on FB:
7/10 - Not the best MK game out there, but it is fun. Midway and Warner Bros did make a very big deal out of this game, but it is lacking. No blood in fatalities, yet there's blood when you hit someone? Mmmkay...not really a big deal to me, but MK is known for their gore.
Story mode is short and you are force to play as characters that you don't like, or not good with. Plus, the time you thought you might be better getting better as that character, it does switches you right to a new one to fight as.
It really isn't a horrible game. As I mentioned, it is fun. It's different, both in positive and negative ways, but just don't expect a whole lot and don't take it too seriously.

I like to update on this and say while I did this review, I haven't done anyone's fatality. I just watched Youtube videos and saw no blood when people pulled off a finishing move (yet there was blood when they hit); however, I pulled off both of Catwoman's and one of Kitana's finishers, and there was blood. It wasn't much though.
I know you can turn off the blood option, and that would explain why I saw no blood in those Youtube videos, but if blood was turned off, you wouldn't see it period (yet I saw blood when characters got hit). I'll have to pull off more finishers to see if those blood in those.
Not that it really matters to me, but is IS a MK game. If DC Comics didn't want to see their precious DC characters killed in a gruesome ways (or worried that DC fans would bitch), then maybe they shouldn't have put the DC characters in MK. Midway made it rated M for a reason. It wasn't meant for kids (even though I and other people played it as kids).
