personally, I liked kI1 the best. I couldn't stand any of the new characters in KI2.

I liked the first one, too. The SNES was good, but the arcade one will always be one of my favorite fighting games. The game was ahead of its time, and the characters were special. There were different types of fighters, not just humans, or the not so "humans" in flesh and blood, human forms (like Shao Kahn, Scorpion, Raiden, etc).

The first KI was the best. Orchid and Riptor had the best stages.
