Yeah, so here's the deal...congress wants to sign a bill that controls/censor the internet. So far, their plan isn't working in their favor. I learned of this earlier, and now Proboards has it up and they are linking to this site: americancensorship.org/ for everyone to fight back. I'm sorry, I should've been more clear about this, but here's some sites explaining what SOPA means: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stop_Online_Piracy_Actgizmodo.com/5877000/what-is-sopaEdit: The bill didn't go through. I understand how people that are for this are kinda upset that it didn't go through. The people that I've seen that were for it were artists (so far). They don't want their art stolen and if the SOPA passed, these artists can cause art thieves a shitload of trouble (which they should) since the law will be on their side (actually I thought it already was); however, these people that are for it, are not supporting it 100% because it does take away freedom. My websites could be shutdown (or I could be sued) , or any fan sites for that matter. Youtube would most likely be gone. Hell, even people that are drawing characters from movies/games/etc could be sued. I know that the government will try to bring this bill up again. I'm sure they'll try to find ways to sneak it into another bill, or be very low key about it.
