Personally, I don't care one way or the other; however, I don't see the harm if lawmakers made it legal. So far, weed doesn't care health issues. I could be wrong, but I read up on some of it, and I didn't see it causing cancer and it doesn't fuck you up like meth. Plus I know people who smoked weed and it haven't hurt them - just made them really hungry and relaxed (obviously). They even drove while they were still under the effects and they did fine (but they probably shouldn't have). I never smoked weed before and I probably won't in the future. I just can't stand the smell - it can get me a headache at times. What do you Brain Dead members think? Link: Study shows Weed doesn't cause lung damageOh, I guess I should have voted yes. Marijuana does help cancer patients with their pain and has helped people suffering from depression. Thanks to weed being illegal, doctors are afraid of giving it to their patients or being bitched at if they do.

Cannabis does have well known health benefits for what you noted (and actually, I found out that it can be consumed for health purposes which is deemed much safer than smoking). And if people want to smoke it for rec use, I say let them. It's their body, let them do what they want with it. I would go for legalization of medical cannabis easily. It's already been proven to be of medical benefit, and if people buy it for rec use, that's on them, really.
Again, most people here already know I'm straight edge, so you will not see me smoking that stuff at any point in my life. If I had to consume it for medical purposes, I would have no problem with that, but never will I smoke it. I don't like the smell of it either, plus I generally don't like any kind of smoke in my lungs.
