Todd's brother gave this game to me on my birthday. It's another zombie apocalypse type games, but this game is pretty funny. You can use anything as a weapon and I mean anything. Chairs, garbage bags, axes, bats, a jar of mustard...and some items you find at an adult shop...
You can also make poor Chuck Greens (the protagonist) dress up in drag, or if you're feeling nice, a nice suit and other manly outfits. The only complaint I have about the game is the damn timer on the quests. You can't spend too much time going around killing things because there's always a timer, and you can have six things that need to be done - most of it is optional though. The good thing though about this is that you can start the game over, and you'll still have your level stats. In fact, it's best not to do all the quests because you need to be a high level to beat it. Thus you can just do the main missions and beat the game or you can start over if you feel like you need to finish everything on your first play though.
In addition you can team up with someone to help you get things done...and if you're not careful, you can hurt them with items. I watched Todd knocked his friend out with a trash bag and token chips. Who knew token chips could be so dangerous.
Here's some of the clothes you can change into:

I prefer the first Dead Rising to the second. That one was a lot more fun to go through than the second. Just me, though.

I never had the chance to play the first one. I'm sure it's less annoying because you don't have to rush back to the safe room to give a kid an injection.

Since MacDaddy has the first Dead Rising, I was able to play that. Dead Rising 2 is much better to me. DR1 has too many issues and I haven't even made it that far into the game yet, but the AI are much more dumber than the ones in 2. I do like Frank, but I like Chuck Greene better. I do want to get Dead Rising: Off the Records, even though it's just playing 2 as Frank. I will buy it when it gets cheaper.

I'd liken Dead Rising 2 to other Capcom first sequels such as Mega Man 2 or Street Fighter 2. The first Dead Rising started up the series and had some good gameplay, it was fun but a bit flawed. For me, Dead Rising 2 feels much more refined so it was a more enjoyable than the first. The survivor AI was better, the game wasn't as hard right off the bat and the combo weapons were a blast to make, and use. And it's also really fun to play in co-op, though it would have been better to have Frank as the second player like Case West instead of two Chucks.
