It's been awhile since I played the Sands of Times, so my brain is rusty on the details, but didn't the Prince give the Dagger of Time back to Farah at the end of the game? If so, how did he ended up with it in the Warrior Within and Two Thrones?
Also I saw the ending for the Two Thrones, and Farah asked how did the Prince know her. I thought she would have remembered him since he, you know, gave her the dagger at the end of SoT.
This has been on my mind since I watched the Forgotten Sands trailer. Some things don't make any sense, unless I'm missing something.
Maybe you can help clear things up, Foxx?

Allow me to clear up some continuity issues. The Prince did in fact give the Dagger of Time back to Farrah at the end of the first game, but before he did that, remember he stuck the dagger back into the hour glass reversing all that transpired. Thus Farah has no memory of him or any of the events that took place in the game. Only the Prince and the Vizier retain their memories of the events because they were the only two affected by the sands' power.
In both Warrior Within/Revelations and The Two Thrones/Rival Swords, the Prince never had the dagger. The power of the dagger was infused within him (though how it was, I'm not sure...it was never explained) thus giving him the ability to control the powers of the sands at his own will.
Both Warrior Within/Revelations and the Two Thrones/Rival Swords takes place seven years after the Sands of Time (as mentioned by the Prince somewhere in the middle of TTT/RS), and given the fact that Farah didn't even know who the Prince was at the end of the Sands of Time, I highly doubt she'd recognized him seven years later (new look and all).

Yeah, that would make sense. Thanks for clearing that up about the dagger, and I think they mentioned how the Prince was infused with it in Two Thrones. It was when he cut himself with the dagger trying to save Farah. I thought I remembered them mentioning that because they were explaining why he was possessed by the Dark Prince. I'm not 100% sure, but I will look that up later.

Yeah, you're right about that. I just played through that part last night and the part about him accidentally cutting himself with the dagger to save Farrah just came back to me.
