I just now saw the trailer for it. I guess it has nothing to do with the PoP game that came out a few years ago...unless they're going all Warrior Within with this...the Prince much darker...
Anyways, anyone's that played it, what's your thoughts on it? I haven't been online on the 360 for awhile now, but I'm going to check if there's a demo on there.

This game has been out for a few months now. A bit longer than the movie. Forgotten Sands takes place in-between The Sands of Time and Warrior Within telling an untold chapter in the story. I have yet to pick it up myself, but I will once my finances become more stable. Unfortunately there aren't any demos of it on any system (I checked both XBL Marketplace and PlayStation Store...no demos for all systems).

I see the reviews on this is mixed. Some liked it...but a lot of people hated it. They mentioned there is no ties to the Sands of Time, and even though I never played it, I can understand that. In the SoT, the Prince did not have a brother. It pretty much pointed out that he was the only son. He also looks older in this game than he does in Warrior Within, and this is suppose to take place before that.
I'll still like to play a demo of it. I probably won't be buying it unless it gets really cheap, but that's how I get most of my games anyways.

So Todd gave me this game as a Christmas present. I haven't gotten too far in it, but the Prince has his sense of humor still. The controls are awkward, it took some time to get used to (I dunno, for some reason, they feel different from the other PoP games), but it's still fun so far. I'll post more whenever I beat it.
